Rebecca Has a Wealth of Knowledge
Rebecca has worked in the fashion and entertainment industry for nearly 13 years, and has taught for some of the top makeup schools and brands in the country. With a strong belief in personal confidence, she loves helping people look their best.
“My mom taught me at a young age,” she says, “that when you look good, you feel good. I later learned that the reverse is also true-when you feel good, you look even better. These powerful ideas have shaped my lifestyle, my self-esteem, and my professional philosophy.”
A victim of acne herself, Rebecca turned to whole foods and a plant-based diet to help her skin heal from the inside out. “I gradually found that my skin began to heal,” she says. As she started caring more about what she was putting in and on her body, Rebecca started researching standard brands of skin care and makeup and was surprised by what she found.
“I was surprised to find that most commercial brands contained chemicals that were toxic to our bodies as well as the environment,” she says. “Yet, I was not convinced that we have to sacrifice our health to achieve beauty, so I spent years researching and testing cosmetics that are free of harmful ingredients. I was excited to find safe and healthy products that still delivered the beautiful results we all desire.”
What You’ll Learn at the Master Class
For this master class, Rebecca plans a hands-on experience, and encourages attendees to bring their own notebook and makeup brushes. Then sit back and get ready to learn about the following:
- How to prepare the skin for makeup application
- How to choose the right color and type of foundation for any skin tone and type
- How to use the color wheel for color matching and corrective techniques
- How to define and bring out eyebrows
- Techniques to best apply eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and fake eyelashes
- When and where to use blush and highlighters
- How to finish off the look with the perfect color and texture for lips
You’ll get to practice makeup application while in the class, and gain tips from Rebecca to improve your technique. If you want to pursue a career in makeup artistry, Rebecca will also teach you how to get your career started, build a portfolio, and assist established artists.
