Major Celebrities and Performers to Appear in New York City
A number of top celebrities and performing acts including The Cab, Action Item, Fivel Stewart from the Disney Channel, and Booboo Stewart from Twilight will be attending the ALIVE New York health and environmental awards show and informational conference event. Subsequently, the downtown red carpet awards ceremony has been dubbed ‘The Academy Awards of Health and Humanities’.
Adding a plethora of celebrities to the list of presenters, nominees, and attendees on a daily basis, ALIVE has attracted the direct attention of major media organizations and philanthropist entities alike. Nominated companies like LiveStrong, FabFitFun (a Giluana Rancic company), Organic Authority, Global Green, and others have a large list of celebrity supports – many of which are some of the most well-known in the industry. Global Green supporters include Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Orlando Bloom.
The list of major nominees for ALIVE is also full of top-tier celebrities and organizations who have made major contributions to health and humanities within their lifetime. Some major nominees are Soul Surfer-Bethany Hamilton, Nick Vujicik, Tony Horton, Zuzana Light (founder of BodyRock), Brendan Brazier, Chris Powell (from ABC’s Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition), The Healthy Housewives, Dr. Mercola, Anita Moorjani, and USANA & VEMMA – companies supported by the highly influential Dr. Oz.
ALIVE will be held at The Town Hall in Times Square, New York City between June 29th and 30th. ALIVE will feature a unique black tie awards show atmosphere as well as a full-length two day informational conference highlighted with celebrity speakers. The ALIVE red carpet event will occur before the ceremony begins and will feature surprise celebrity guests that will not be disclosed before the show.
