I want to invite all my readers to come to my upcoming workshops in both New Jersey and New York City. I’ll be talking about Safe Self-Care During Cancer, but even if you don’t have cancer, this workshop will have something useful for you.
In today’s world, we’re all surrounded by chemicals, from our personal care products to the pollution in the air to the contaminants in our water. These chemicals at best aren’t good for us, and at worst, could be contributing to some of our health problems. Anyone can benefit from being more aware of this, and I’ll be handing out tips for how you can reduce your toxic exposure.
In addition, I’ll be talking specifically to those living with cancer about the changes the disease and the treatments can make to your body, and how to cope. You’ll find answers to questions like these:
- My skin is super dry and fragile-why?
- My regular moisturizer burned my face for the first time. What can I use instead?
- Are there really ingredients in my personal care products that are linked with cancer?
- Where can I find safer products?
- Are there home remedies for mouth sores?
- And much more.
This workshop is open to the public and free of charge! I’m bringing my experience as a cancer survivor, caretaker, makeup artist, and safe cosmetic expert to share with you the secrets I’ve learned over the years. Walk away armed with the knowledge you need to make wise choices about your own self-care-at a time when you need it the most.
